Executive Officer
Brief info

Nicole has been the Executive Officer at Joondalup Athletics Centre since July 2021. Prior to joining Joondalup, she was an active member of the Ridgewood Athletics Centre. This is Nicole's 12th season of Little Athletics.

Nicole became familiar with athletics through her boys. It soon became evident that all her boys showed a talent for sprints and jumps. Nicole's eldest son is the current U18 Triple Jump WA and Australian record holder and is currently studying in America on a full athletic scholarship. He finished the 2019 season of athletics as the No 1 ranked U18 athlete in the world for triple jump. He has also been selected for the Australian U20 World Junior Athletic Team for 2 years running. Unfortunately, he did not get the chance to compete in either year due to COVID-19.

Nicole's middle son is also an athlete and holds a State Little Athletics Record for U15 and U17 4x100m relay, as well as several centre and state medals in the 100m and Long Jump. Her youngest son is still a little athlete, who now competes for Joondalup Athletics Centre.

Having been around the athletic world for 12 years, Nicole is familiar with not only Little Athletics, but also National and International competitions and pathways.  Nicole has extensive knowledge in the administration and running of a Little Athletic Centre having been the Secretary of Mindarie Little Athletics Club for 6 years, as well as sitting on the Ridgewood Athletic Centre board as Competition Officer.

Nicole loves all facets of athletics and enjoys following the sport at a National and International level.  She is loving her role at Joondalup Athletics Centre and is working closely with the Joondalup Athletics Board to improve both the Junior and Senior components to provide an all-around experience for all members.
