Entry: Entry is open to all Junior Athletics and Senior Athletics Members within the following age groups:

Athletes are permitted to compete in any age group event and open categories, where minimum age requirements do not apply.  Please refer to the Rules of Competiton for full details.

Para Athletes must have a State level classification to compete.​

National Progression:  This event is a qualification event for the Australian Track and Field Championships which will take place in Perth from Friday 4th to Sunday 13th April 2025.  The top 3 athletes in each age group per event will qualify for the WA State Team.  Athletes who do not finish in the top 3 can also qualify by obtaining the entry standard released by Athletics Australia.

 

This event is also a qualification event for the Australian Little Athletics Championships to be held in Adelaide from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th April 2025.  Athletes must nominate to be considered for this team.  Athletes who have nominated will be considered for selection based on their results from either the Senior or Junior State Championships, or both.
